Adrian Henry Buckner son of Leland Dow and Evelyn Lois (Brown) Buckner was born December 23rd, 1945 in Stilwell, Ok and the Lord called him home on April 29, 2018 surrounded by loved ones.
Adrian married Wanda Faye Brown on October 28, 1967 and to this union 4 children were born; Harrison Henry, Lawanda, Sheridan and Lela. He worked at Stilwell Foods for over 35 years to provide for his family in which he was a very loving husband, father and grandfather to them. He enjoyed finding treasures while metal detecting, classic cars and fishing. He also served in the National Guard. Adrian had a kind and gentle soul and will be missed by all who loved him.
He was preceded in death by one daughter; Lela Gail Buckner, son; Harrison Henry Buckner, his parents; 3 brothers; Billy Carl Buckner, Bobby Dow Buckner, Mosey Buckner, 2 sisters; Jane Smith, Evelyn Woods special friend, Bill Ross and several beloved in laws.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of over 50 years, Wanda Faye Buckner of the home, daughters; Lawanda Handle and husband Nathan, Sheridan Soap and husband Joshua all of Stilwell, OK, grandchildren; PJ Sawney and wife Renee, Chelsey Sanchez and husband Steffen, Devin Nakedhead and Megan, Mark Nakedhead and Tiffany, Jade Duncan and husband Grant, Brittnee Nakedhead and Josh, Jaycee Soap, Kinley Soap and Kason Soap. His great grandchildren; Adrian Sawney, Julian Cruz Kent, Skylen and Tysen Sanchez, Layla Nakedhead, Serenity Nakedhead and Awzieh Sevensta:r. Brothers; Posey Buckner and wife Jeanie, Allen Buckner, Gerald Buckner, Tony Buckner and wife Barbara, Paul Buckner and wife Sheila. Special friend Gary Caton, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Interment will follow under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
