Ivan Eugene Hart, son of Clarence Wilbur and Iva Laura (Lewis) Hart, was born on July 19, 1935 in Ava, Missouri and passed from this life on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 1 day.
Ivan lived most of his life in Adair County. He was honored to serve in the Oklahoma National Guard for 6 years in the 1950’s. Ivan married Viola Mae Colston and the Lord blessed them with a large, loving family and 56 years together. Ivan and his family worked hard on the family farm to keep food on the table and provide a living. He lives on in his family and friends.
His parents: Clarence and Iva Hart, brothers: Don Hart and Wilbur Hart, sisters: Betty Cooper, Alice Burnside, grandchild: Lana Gail Brockman and great grandchild: Kaden Crow.
He is survived by his wife: Viola Mae Hart of the home near Westville, OK, children: Donald Eugene Hart and wife Diane of Tahlequah, OK, Roger Dale Hart and wife Debbie of Stilwell, OK, Matthew Neil Hart and wife Nina of Westville, Phyllis Kaye Murray of Westville, Lenora Lee Cooper and husband Donald of Westville, Vickie Neal and husband Randy of Lincoln, AR, Wanda Mae Brauher and husband Ivan of Westville, Rhonda Faye Ritchie and husband William of Stilwell, Shary Ann Crittenden and husband Austin of Westville, Connie Jean Allmer and husband Brian of Briggsdale, CO, Tammy Renee Dress and husband Chris of Stilwell, 34 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 77 foster children, brothers: Kenneth Hart and wife Jane of Westville, Jerry Hart of Siloam Springs, AR, sister: Phyllis Smith of Tulsa, OK and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services at 10 am on Friday, August 23, 2013 at England Hollow Cemetery with Jack Hayes officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
