Levi Catron, Sr. departed this life Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years old.

His wife was Barbara Jones Catron, who is also deceased. Levi lived his whole life in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He was the son of Robert & Betsy Catron, both deceased. His brothers: Gary Helton, Perry Leach and Calvin Catron are also deceased.

Levi was a Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, Great Uncle and Brother. He loved to visit around and be around family. He was a member of Chuculate Baptist Church. He worked on the Kansas City Railroad for 33 years until he retired.

He lived with his son Levi Catron, Jr. in Sequoyah County for the last 4 years. He had 4 sons & one daughter. Levi Catron, Jr. & wife Rinda of Sallisaw, OK. Robert Catron & wife Tammy of Stilwell, OK. Pam Catron of Stilwell, OK. Chester Catron of Muskogee, OK Jasper Catron & wife Judith of Oklahoma City, OK Levi had 6 brothers: Jim, Richard, Eddie, Rex, Breth and Neil Catron. 7 sisters: Margaret, Romania, Kathleen, Mary, Patsy, Doreen and Annette, grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loved ones. Levi was very inspirational to the family. He will be missed.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Echota Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Muskrat officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
