James Lee Wilson, the son of Benton and Grace (Unger) Wilson, was born September 1, 1937, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He departed this life August 17, 2012, in Stilwell at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 16 days.
James was married to Geneva Kelley in Stilwell on August 31, 1957. They would have celebrated nearly 55 years of marriage. Their union was blessed with three sons, Jim, Jack and Bryan, and two daughters, Patricia and Rhonda. James worked as a truck driver for 30 years and then owned and operated Wilson's Body Shop for several years before retirement. His hobbies included hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Howard, Bennie and Kennith Wilson, daughter, Rhonda Wilson, granddaughter, Crystal Dawn Martin and a brother-in-law, Joe Daigneault.
His surviving family includes, his wife, Geneva, of the home, his children, Pat Butler and husband Michael, Jim L. Wilson and wife, Theresa, Jack B. Wilson and wife, Pam, Bryan K. Wilson and wife, Tammy, all of Stilwell; two sisters, Shirley Workman and husband, Kenny, and Linda Daigneault, all of Stilwell; two brothers, Wayland Wilson and Wade Wilson, both of Stilwell; sister-in-law, Viola Wilson, of Stilwell; grandchildren, Carrie Thompson, and husband, Robin, Chase Butler, Brittney Brannon, and husband, Derrick and Ashley Wilson Miller; great grandchildren, Zoey Brooke Thompson, Everleigh Claire Thompson and Allison Sky Miller.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Glenn Hopkins officiating. Burial will be at Ewing Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
