Bobby Darrell Wilson
November 29, 1939-August 20, 2007
Bobby Darrell Wilson, son of Leonard and Mabel (Cole) Wilson was born November 29, 1939 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on August 20, 2007 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 21 days.
He married the love of his life Reba Brown on June 1, 1959 and to this union 3 sons were born; Bobby Lunn, Darrell Eugene and Larry Dale. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather to his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and most of all working his cows and horses. Darrell worked as County Commissioner for many years in Dist. 2. He was also a United States Navy Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother; Dale Wilson and 1 sister; Connie Colene Wilson.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of over 48 years; Reba Wilson of the home in Stilwell, OK, 3 sons; Bobby Lynn Wilson, Darrell Eugene Wilson and wife Debra and Larry Dale Wilson and wife Jennifer all of Stilwell, OK, 5 grandchildren; Jake Wilson, Desiree Arnett and husband Chris, Bobby Gene Wilson, Evan Alexander Wilson, Lucas Donald Wilson all of Stilwell, OK. 2 great grandchildren; Michael Arnett and Megan Arnett, 7 siblings; Donal James Wilson and wife Faye of Foyil, OK, Juanita Hays and husband Don of Little Rock, AR, Dick Wilson and wife Oleta of Westville, OK, Doyle Wilson and wife Sue of Cookson, OK, Ronnie Wilson and wife Helen, Sheila Buckner and husband Paul, Larry Craig Wilson and wife Debbie all of Stilwell, OK. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friend also survive him.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in the Ewing Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Jim Brown officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
