Bobbie Raye Wilhite was born on October 1, 1929 to Thomas Jefferson and Edith Marie (Hedgepath) Sanderson in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 5 days.
A generous and thoughtful woman, Bobbie gave of herself to many, always sharing a caring ear or advice. She loved her family, friends and church family with all her heart. Bobbie loved to make quilts for them all. She was also an avid seamstress and crafter with crochet, knitting and beads.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Edith Sanderson, brother: Rusty Murphy and half sister: Janie.
Surviving Bobbie is her husband of the home: Grover Wilhite, son: Donald “Jeff” Slayton and wife Phyllis, grandsons: Jeff Slayton and wife Melinda, Greg Slayton and wife Crystal, great grandchildren: Kenny Slayton, Kylan Slayton, Allyn Slayton and Amiya Slayton, all of Bremerton, Washington.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Glenn Hopkins officiating. Interment followed at Ewing Chapel Cemetery.
