August 3, 1924 - October 17, 2006
Jack Rogers son of John A. and Cecilia (Kriley) Rogers was born August 3, 1924 in Stockton, Kansas and departed this life on October 17, 2006 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 14 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Elemerine Rogers, Siblings: Claire Rogers, Linus Rogers, Pete Rogers, Harley Rogers, Harv Rogers, Naomi Rogers and Alma Rogers.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes 8 children; Tom Rogers and wife Debbie of Stilwell, OK, Doris Nicholson and husband Max of Modesto, CA, Sue Capps and husband Frank of Oakdale, CA, Judith Allinson of Stilwell, OK, Roy Rogers of Turlock, CA, Mark Rogers and wife Debbie of Turlock, CA, Barbara Alanis and husband Oliverio of Riverbanks, CA, Nancy Brummer and husband Ed of Stockton, KS, 23 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren
5 brothers and sisters; Robert Rogers and wife Arlene, Mary Dinkle, Ellen Most and Bernice Tefaux and husband Al, 3 stepchildren; Clara Holladay, George O'Brien and wife Louise and Mary Higginbotham and husband Neal. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Graveside services were held Monday, October 23, 2006 in the Ewing Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Paul Etter officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
