Mary Ella (Starr) Chambers

Mary Ella Chambers the daughter of Walter Starr and Ira Rebecca (Coleman) Starr, was born August 18, 1948 in Morton, WA and departed this life on August 28, 2019 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years and 10 days.

Mary enjoyed life and she loved her family greatly. She loved music; singing, playing her accordion and even dabbled with the piano. Mary married the love of her life at age 15, they were married for 55 years. She enjoyed cooking for the family she built with Jerry, she also enjoyed reading and playing word find puzzles. Mary was a devout and very passionate follower of the Apostle Pentecostal Church. Mary touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
 

Mary was preceded in death by both of her parents, brother Pete Starr, sister Esther Zapalack and son Benjamin Floyd Chambers.
 

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Jerry Pat Chambers Sr. of the home; daughter Jill Marie Chambers of Arizona, sons; Jerry Pat Chambers Jr. of Oregon, Billy Joe Chambers and Dana of Stilwell, Ok, and daughter-in-law; Jackie Chambers of Stilwell, OK; brother Alfred Starr of North Dakota; sister Joanne Rose of Washington; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Many friends and other relatives also survive her.
 

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Ewing Chapel Cemetery with Bro. David Ketcher officiating.

Burial is under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
