Daniel Wesley Buckner
July 15, 1988 - August 18, 2009
Daniel Wesley Buckner was born July 25, 1988, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Charles Buckner and Paula (Robbins) Smith. He went home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 21 years and 23 days.
Daniel was a graduate of Stilwell High School and graduated from OSU Institute of Technology in Okmulgee as a Chrysler automotive technician. He was currently employed by Lewis Chrysler in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He enjoyed mudding, working on hot rods and spending time with his uncles. Daniel attended Watts First Baptist Church.
His grandparents, M.O. and Marilyn Buckner, preceded Daniel in death.
Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Charles Buckner, of Stilwell; his mother and stepfather, Paula and Robert Smith, of Stilwell; fiancé, Jessica Havens, of Colcord; grandparents, Garry and Sharon Robbins, of Stilwell; five uncles, Paul Robbins and wife, Bonni and their children, Hannah, Natalie and Cole Henry, of Collinsville, Caleb Robbins and wife, Misty, of Elkins, AR, Mark Robbins, of Oklahoma City, Leland Buckner and Arthur Buckner, of Stilwell; three aunts, Lois Buckner and husband, Tom, of Tulsa, Laurie Phillips and husband, Monte, of Stilwell, Mary Fox and husband, Les, of Mt. Rainier, WA, special friends, Keith Hall and Kevin Weaver, several cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jim Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Ewing Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
