Charles Wayne Buckner, son of M.O. and Marilyn (Davis) Buckner, was born October 27, 1964 in Tacoma, Washington. He passed from this life on November 7, 2018 at his home in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years and 10 days.


Charlie was an avid fisherman who enjoyed being outdoors. He loved playing jokes on people and always wanted to have a good time. Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday and he loved having all his family together while enjoying all the good food. He attended Eldon Baptist Church as he was able.
 

He is preceded in death by his parents, M.O. and Marilyn Buckner, his son Daniel Buckner and one nephew, Bradley Chaffin.

Charlie leaves behind to cherish his memory, brothers and sisters, Leland Buckner of Stilwell, Arthur Buckner and wife Donna of Stilwell, Lois Buckner and Tom Snellgrove of Tulsa, Laurie Phillips of Stilwell and Mary Fox and husband Les of Rainier, Washington. Several nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives also survive him.
 

Graveside services were held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Ewing Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Jess French officiating. Final arrangements were entrusted to the care of Hart Funeral Home.
