Tina Marie (Fitzpatrick) Holbird was bom April 12, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Geraldine Phyliis and William Clifford Fitzpatrick. Tina was the fourth of their six children. She attended grade school and finished high school in Macon, Ohio.

Tina’s father was a mechanic and Tina grew up following him around in his shop. She told of handing him tools and learning what each one was when she was just a little girl. As a result, she could fix almost anything.

In 1978 Tina, along with her family, moved to Oklahoma. This was a good move for Tina because in Oklahoma she met the love of her life, J.D. Holbird.

Tina and J.D. were married in Stilwell on August 31, 1985, and spent most of their married life at Baron, Oklahoma.

She and J.D. lost three precious children in January, 1991. But God, who is always good, gave them another son, Matthew Ryan. Tina was so thankful to have Matt, and poured the love of four children on him. Matt was the light of her life.

Tina became a reserve officer with the Stilwel lPolice Dept, in 1995. Later she moved to the Adair County Sheriff’s Dept, and was head jailer at the new Adair County Jail for some time.

Tina served as a reserve deputy with Adair County until her health no longer permitted. She rode with “Papa Green” many nights and always did her best to keep him out of trouble -as she fondly put it. Tina was very proud of her work with law enforcement.

Tina was a hard worker all her life and if you had anything she thought you needed help with she was right there. Nothing was ever too hard or dirty for her.

Tina trusted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, so we have the comfort of knowing that she is now reunited with her children and is at home with our Heavenly Father.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents: Geraldine Phyllis and William Clifford Fitzpatrick, one sister - Betty Lou; two brothers - William James and Robert Allen Fitzpatrick and her three children - Lee Inez, Tasha Marie, and Robert James Doyle.

Tina leaves behind her husband James Doyle and son Matthew Ryan Holbird of Baron, Ok.; a sister, Mary Fitzpatrick, and brother, Scotty Fitzpatrick; 2 nephews and one niece, and their families; her father-in-law and mother- in-law, Bob and Jane Holbird; three sisters-in-law and their families; along with countless friends to remember her with love.

Tina would want all who knew her to come to know Jesus as their Savior. One of the happiest days of Tina’s life was two days before her death, when Matt trusted Jesus as his Savior and she had the assurance that she would see Matt again in Heaven.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Roger Haney officiating. Interment followed at Downing Cemetery, Baron, OK under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
