Ernie Lee Gifford, Jr.
June 16, 1932 - September 21, 2006
Ernie Lee Gifford, Jr., was born June 16, 1932 to Ernie Lee and Fanny Mae (Brown) Gifford in Addilee Community of Adair County OK.
Ernie passed from this life on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 11:00 p.m. at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 5 days.
Ernie served in the United States Navy for nine years on LSD26 and ARG4.
Ernie married Iris Juanita Clinton on April 20, 1973.
Ernie is survived by his wife of 33 years, Iris Juanita Gifford, and was loved much by his brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, numerous nephews, nieces, friends and co-workers. Ernie will be missed so much by one and all.
Services were held Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating.
Interment followed at Downing Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
