Charlie Lee JOHNSON, Jr., son of Charlie JOHNSON and Geneva "Genny" STILL-JOHNSON, was born July 10, 1944 in Stilwell, Okla., and departed from this life into eternity March 29, 1998 at St. Edwards Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark., after a lengthy illness at the age of 53 years, 8 months and 18 days.
He was preceded in death by both parents, one sister and one son, Charles.
Charlie is survived by: one daughter, Tina, of Okla.; eight brothers, Henry, Sam, Kenny, Leonard, J.D and Denver, all of Okla., and Richard and Joseph, both of Ill.; two sisters, Mary Jane and Violet, both of Okla. Mr. JOHNSON is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, at 1 p.m. at the Cherry Tree Baptist Church with Brother Thomas Still officiating. A wake for Mr. JOHNSON will be held at the home on Wednesday evening.
Burial will follow the service at Doublehead Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Stilwell.
