Charley Doublehead Sr.
March 1, 1930-December 15, 2008
Charley Doublehead Sr., the son of Sam and Adaline (Bunch) Doublehead was born March 1, 1930 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 15, 2008 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years 9 months and 14 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Bernice, 1 daughter; Marilyn Doublehead, and 1 grandson; Wesley Wynos.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes 2 daughters; Anna Stamper and husband Paul of Mansford, OH, Jackie Wynos of Goshin, IN, 7 sons; Clifford Wynos and wife Glenda of GA, Jerry Wynos and wife Mary of Stilwell, OK, Michael Wynos of WI, Charley Doublehead Jr and wife Billie Kay of Siloam Springs, AR, Denton Doublehead of Stilwell, OK, Terry Doublehead of Stilwell, OK, Leroy Doublehead of Stilwell, OK, 4 sisters; Carolyn Claphan of Stilwell, OK, Lydia Young of Stilwell, OK, Janana Daugherty of Stilwell, OK, Emmaline Teehee of TX, 2 brothers; John Doublehead of Stilwell, OK, Adam Doublehead of Stilwell, OK, 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with John Gonzales officiating. Interment followed in the Doublehead Family Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
