Ned Brown was born on August 7, 1932, in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Lum Brown and Delia Sixkiller Brown. He passed from this life on Friday, December 10, 2010, in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 3 days.

Ned enjoyed being outdoors, going to gospel singings, listening to the radio, playing with his dog and making people laugh. He was always willing to help others and he was always whistling and humming. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lum and Delia Brown, three brothers, Herbert Buckner, Harvey Buckner and J.T. Brown; one sister, Lorene Price and two nephews, Ronnie Dale Black and Larry Price.

He is survived by one brother, Joe Brown, of Stiwell and one sister, Violet Black, also of Stilwell and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Herman Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
