Nancy Jane Watkins was born June 4, 1933, in Chewey, Oklahoma to William Pathkiller and Charlott (Hilderbrand) Pathkiller. She passed away October 26, 2007 in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 22 days.

Nancy was married to Roy Watkins who preceded her in death on December 15, 1989.

She worked as a home health care provider until her retirement and was a member of Illinois River Baptish Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband; Roy, two brothers; Taylor Crittenden and Micky Pathkiller, one sister; Susie Odean Watkins, three children; Odean Watkins, Laverne Sullivan and James Bird.

Her surviving family includes her children, Anita Whitmire of Chewey, OK., Billy White of Kansas, OK., Aleen and Bob Busse of Iowa, a special niece; Sandra Glass of Kansas, OK., grandchildren; Kyle, Chalon, Ashton, Ariel, Amanda, William, Linda, Lathan, Lisa, Marty, Debbie, Tim, Kris, Toni, Venita, Serena, Bobby and Mendy, numerous great grandchildren, brothers; J.D. Bird and wife Laura, and Johnny Bird of Chewey, OK., sister; Lola Crittenden Stopp, sister in law; Lydia Crittenden, Kathrien Watkins and Mildred Watkins all of Chewey, OK., and brother in law; Howard Watkins of Wichita, KS and a host of friends and loved ones.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Souls Harbor Church in Chewey with Bro. Larry Kindle and Bro. Ricky Pathkiller officiating.

Interment followed at Crittenden Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
