Shawn Michael Scraper, son of Ted and Pat (Scraper) Garrett, was born March 27, 1975 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 26, 2009 in stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 34 years, 1 month and 29 days.
Shawn worked as a mechanic at Ted's Auto Repair for 12 years. He loved watching animal planet, getting new tatoos, and watching movies with his dogs, Sampson and Goliath whom he had a great love for. He also enjoyed listening to his music and spending time with friends and extended family.
Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents; William and Charlotte Hoffman Scraper, TE "Dick" and Mazie Jenkins Garrett, 1 brother; Kevin Caviness, 2 nephews; William Scraper and William Barnum, a special friend; Lela and 1 uncle; Robert Floyd Scraper.
He is survived by his parents; Ted and Pat Garrett of the home in Stilwell, OK, 2 sisters; Kristal Jenkins of Norwood, OK, Melinda Garrett of Stilwell, OK, 1 daughter; Harley Ann Scraper of Hudson, New York, Nieces; Kevlynn Jenkins of Norwood, OK, Hanna Glenn, Nephews; Troy and Chase Glenn all of Stilwell, OK, uncles; Mike Scraper of Sapulpa, OK, Harvey Scraper of Stilwell, OK, Bill Scraper of New York, 1 aunt; Vallie Scraper of Stilwell, OK, extendded family; Devin, Mark, Jade and Brittnee, special cousins; Paul, Josh, and Robert Alger, several other relatives and many friends also survive him.
