Our beloved mother, Jacqueline Jones Catron was born April 9, 1948 in Lyon Switch, OK to Chester and Oma (Runabout) Jones. She went to be with our Lord on December 24, 2015 at her home in the Rocky Mountain Community in Stilwell, Ok, surrounded by her husband and children at the age of 67.

Jacqueline was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She devoted herself to the Lord and loved attending church, and spending time with her family. She loved hand sewing quilts with her sister Barbara, fishing, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren, she also loved to cook big meals outside during the summer for family gatherings and she also loved shopping. She loved listening to the Lords word and singing gospel music to her grandchildren in Cherokee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Chester and Oma Jones, sisters; Cherokee Jones, Nancy (Martin) Mudd, Barbara (Jones) Catron, Lila (Jones) Meeks, brothers; George Jones, William Jones, Billy Ray Jones, John Douglas Sawney, and son in law; Gordon Len Sellers Sr.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Jim Boyd Catron of the home, children; John Paul Catron and fiance Sandra Lyman, James Paul Catron all of Tahlequah, OK, Oma Jean West and husband Wesley, Petula Jean Sellers all of Stilwell, OK, Norma Jean Davis and husband James of Westville, OK, Jr.Jim Catron of Stilwell, Martha Ann Gilley and husband Jonathan of Sti well, OK, Jeremiah Jay Catron and wife Daphne, Tammie Ann Nakedhead and husband Chance, Priscillia Stella Catron all of Stilwell, OK. Brother; John Jones and wife Joanne, Sisters; Ella Mae Wilson and husband Clifford, Gwendolyn Eddings and husband Joe, Gail Scraper and husband David all of Stilwell, OK, Vivian Baber of Westville, OK, brother in law; Glen Meeks, sister in law; Donna Wolf, 30 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Graveside services at 2 pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Clear Springs Cemetery, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Bill Woods and Bro. Scott Lowe officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/ Reed-Culver Funeral Home.

Our beloved father, Jim Boyd Catron, was born June 11, 1935 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Robert and Betsy (Hummingbird) Catron.
 

He went to be with Our Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at his home in the Rocky Mountain Community of Stilwell, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving children at the age of 84 years.
 

Jim was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He devoted his life to the Lord and attended Echota Baptist Church until his health succumbed. He cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren. Jim loved playing guitar, listening to music, fishing, taking drives, family gatherings and just loved being outdoors.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Jones Catron, his parents, Robert and Betsy Catron, (baby brothers, James and Sicero, baby sister “baby girl”), Perry Leach, Levi Catron, Calvin Catron, brothers: Gary Helton, Rex Catron, son-in-law: Gordon Len Sellers.

 

He is survived by his children: John Paul Catron and wife Sandra, James Paul Catron, both of Tahlequah. Oma Jean West and husband Wesley, Petula Jean Sellers, Norma Jean Davis and husband James, Jr. Jim Catron, all of Stilwell, Martha Ann Gilley and husband Jonathan of Oaks. Jeremiah Jay Catron and wife Daphne, Tammie Ann Nakedhead and husband Chance, Priscilla Stella Catron, all of Stilwell. Brothers: Richard Catron and wife Retha, Edward Catron, of Tahlequah, Brett Catron and Neil Catron of Stilwell.  Sisters: Romania Cordova of Tulsa, Margaret Hummingbird and Mary Harlin of Stilwell, Kathy Williams, Doreen Williamson, Annette Mankiller, of Tahlequah, Patsy Shannon of Broken Arrow. thirty-one grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him, including his longtime friend, George Scott.
 

Graveside services were held Monday, November 4, 2019 at Clear Springs Cemetery, Stilwell, with Junior Levi Catron and Bro. Bill Woods officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell
