Samson Duncan
February 3, 1936-February 27, 2008
Samson Duncan son of Dollie Duncan was born February 3, 1935 in Adair County, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 27, 2008 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years and 24 days.
Samson worked for Baird's Farm for 16 years. He loved to wrestle with his grandkids, go sight seeing, keeping his yard work done and he loved to go driving, it didn't matter how far he would go.
Samson was preceded in death by his mother, brothers; Clint, Walter, Bob, Flynn and Taylor Duncan, and 2 sisters; Nellie Duncan and Sally Watie.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Lizzie Duncan of the home in Stilwell, Oklahoma, 1 daughter; Imogene York and husband Anthony of Tahlequah, OK., grandchildren; Logan Turner and Brandon York of Tahlequah, OK., Keni Turner and companion Matt Westmoreland of Stilwell, OK., 1 great grandson; Remy Westmoreland, 1 sister; Minnie Soap and husband Nelson, 1 special niece; Nadine Ross, several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held, Friday, February 29, 2008 in the Cherry Tree Baptist Church with Bro. George Teehee and Bro. Donnie Sanders officiating.
Interment followed in the Chulio Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
