Stilwell, OK ~ Funeral Services for Glynnis Smith will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday January 28, 2014 at the Calvary Southern Baptist Church in Stilwell, OK with Bro. Joey Ketcher officiating. Interment will follow under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Glynnis Smith the daughter of Ruby (Shell) and Larry Jackson was born January 25, 1970 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life carried away in the arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, on January 23, 2014 in Houston, Texas with her family by her side.
Glynnis was full of life and enjoyed many things that life had to offer. She loved her job and she loved working with Dr. Migdalia Muriel, not only was Dr. Muriel a co-worker but she was a friend. Glynnis was always good to everybody, though she liked to joke around and make sure she got you before you got her. Glynnis was a sports fan. She loved and thoroughly enjoyed running. She was an avid OU fan and depending on if OU was winning or losing, you would find her couch rearranged in a different spot along the wall of the living room. Glynnis loved her family and enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her family and friends. Glynnis held a special place in her heart for two young girls whom she loved dearly, her nieces Audra and Reagan. Glynnis loved watching those girls play sports and any activity that they were involved in she wanted to be there. Glynnis’s legacy was left behind to be carried on by all who knew and loved her.
Glynnis is survived by her parents Ruby and Larry Jackson of Stilwell; her sister Kayna Faith Fourkiller and husband Lawrence of Stilwell; her nieces Audra Quaid and Reagan Leigh Fourkiller both of Stilwell; and two very close and trusted friends Nancy Wilhite of Westville and Dr. Migdalia Muriel of Tahlequah. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other relatives also survive her.
