Graveside services for Lydia Rowlodge, age 89, will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Chuculate Cemetery in Adair County, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of the Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.

Lydia Rowlodge was born in Stilwell, Oklahoma on June 30, 1921, the daughter of J.B. Sixkiller and Nancy (Scraper) Sixkiller.

On June 15, 1946, she was married to Arthur Rowlodge. Their marriage was blessed with six children: Charlene, Deborah, Marie, Sonny, Curtis and Ricky.
Lydia was a homemaker, and she enjoyed sewing. A member of the Baptist faith, she liked to sing in the church choir. After spending most of her life in the Stilwell area, Lydia moved to Tahlequah in 1995 to be closer to her children.

Lydia Rowlodge passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur, daughters Charlene and Deborah, and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, daughter Marie Ryan of Missouri, son Sonny Rowlodge of California, son Curtis Rowlodge of California and son Ricky Rowlodge of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; two grandchildren; as well as many other family members, friends and loved ones.
