Levi Daugherty Sr., son of Richard and Katie (Flute) Daugherty was born September 29, 1939 in Bunch, OK and departed this life on June 12, 2015 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 13 days.

Levi was a God fearing, kindhearted man. He loved God, going to church, gospel singings, taking little road trips and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a Deacon at Pleasant Valley Holiness Church. He served his country proudly in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Ruby (Vann) Daugherty, one infant daughter and 2 sisters.

Levi is survived by a very loving family that includes his sons; Levi Daugherty Jr. and wife Jerri of Morrow, AR, Edward Daugherty and wife Frances of Stilwell, Ok, daughter; Karla Daugherty of Stilwell, OK, Tootsie (Grayson) Summers who he cared for as a daughter of Jenning, OK, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. 2 brothers; Manuela Daugherty of Marble City, OK, Bob Stevenson of Hobbs, NM, sister; Jean Sumpter of Sallisaw, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Joe Grayson and Bro. Sherwin “Spunk” Johnson officiating. Interment followed at Chuculate Cemetery, Stilwell, OK
