Billy Ray Eubanks, son of Troy and Charlotte Virginia (Rutherford) Eubanks, was born on April 10, 1961 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and passed from this life on May 18, 2014 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years.
He attended and graduated from Hissom Memorial Center in Sand Springs in 1979 and returned to Stilwell to live. Billy entered the workforce at Peoples, Inc. in Stilwell in 1992 and worked there for 5 years. He then went to work for Wal-Mart in 1999 and worked there for 15 years. He worked as a door greeter until he moved onto the floor as a customer service representative. Billy was an avid collector of die cast cars and trains. He was daddy to 2 Quaker Parrots: Jake and Mona and his dog, Scooby.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents: Troy and Charlotte Eubanks.
He is survived by his sisters: Paula Lovett and husband Jimmy, Betty Poindexter and husband Johnny, Kim O’Connor and husband Robert, Teresa Sam and husband Henry, all of Stilwell, Glenda Hunter and husband Earl of Baron, brothers: Troy Eubanks of Stilwell, Kenny Eubanks and wife Robin of Mountainburg, AR.
Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, a great great nephew, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Graveside services were held at 1 pm on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Chalk Bluff Cemetery, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
