Joe Judson Carson
January 7, 1940-February 8, 2008

Joe Judson Carson was born to Rufus Carson and Lucy (Russell) Carson in Stilwell, Oklahoma on January 7, 1940.
While surrounded by his loving family, Joe passed away on February 8, 2008, at 68 years of age.

Joe was married to Patricia Ketcher on March 31, 1975, in Wagoner, Oklahoma. He worked as a truck driver for Huson Foods and Latco Companies. Joe was a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a grandson, Caleb Joe Carson and one brother, David Carson.

He leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Patricia Carson of the home in Stilwell, two sons; Danny Joe Carson and wife Shannon, and Dewayne Gass all of Stilwell, two brothers; Albert Carson and Calvin Carson both of Stilwell, four grandchildren; Michael, Joey, Chris and Lyndsey, and uncle; Bruce Long of Westville, OK and one aunt; Pauline Sawney. He is also survived by Florence Gass, the mother of his first son Dewayne and her children; Ed Gass, Marie Beasley, Lavonna Carey and Malinda Childress, who always held a special place in his heart, and numerous relatives, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Eugene Kester and Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating.
Interment will follow at Chalk Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
