Ralph Manford Riggs
November 14, 1923 - September 3, 2006
Ralph Manford Riggs was born November 14, 1923 in Jay, Oklahoma, to Tom and Forida (Long) Riggs, and departed this life September 3, 2006 in Woodward, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 20 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Margie, two sons: Charlie and Jimmy Riggs, two daughters: Opal Blagg, and Lafern Roach. Sisters: Bessie Hamlin, Bonnie Asbill, May Poindexter, Maggie Balew and Marie Wilson. Three brothers: Herman, Paul and Carl Riggs, and on grandson, Jessie Manford.
He is survived by sons: Tommy, Eddie, George, Michael, Ronald, Bobby and Ralph. Three daughters: Kathy, Brenda Prewitt and Sherry Hoover, also thirty-nine grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 7, 2006 at the Bunch Baptist Church with Bro. Glenn Hopkins officiating.
Interment followed in the Bunch Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
