Galedia Marie Chambers, daughter of Samuel and Lucille (Kimble) Adair, was born July 16, 1937 in Greasy, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 13, 2019 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 81 years, 5 months and 27 days.
 

Galedia had a great love for flowers, gardening and anything outdoors. She thoroughly enjoyed shopping with her aunts Jane and Margaret. She received her degree in cosmetology from Chilocco Indian School. Galedia and her husband Bill owned and operated several food service establishments. Most of all she enjoyed family time.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Hazel Adair, biological mother Lucille Adair, husband; Bill Chambers, brother; Guy Wallace as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
 

Galedia is survived by a loving family that includes her son; Michael Chambers and wife Kelly of Siloam Springs, Ark., granddaughter; Samantha Bailey and husband Jonathan of Bella Vista, Ark., great-grandchildren; Addison and Maddox Bailey also of BellaVista, Ark. One aunt who was more like a sister; Janie Johnson of Stilwell, several other relatives and many friends also survive her.
 

Funeral services were held Friday, January 18, 2019 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, Oklahoma, with Pastor Max Ford, officiating. 

Interment followed at Bunch Cemetery, Bunch, Oklahoma
