Lila Alice Swearingen, daughter of Cecil and Dorothy (Swan) Hagerman, was born on December 31, 1935 in Humphrey, Arkansas and passed from this life on Friday, April 3, 2015 in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 79 years.

She was a fun and caring person. Lila loved her family and friends. Time spent with them was the most important part of her life. She helped support her family as a Nurse and was very good at her job. Lila touched many lives while with us and will be dearly missed.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents: Cecil and Dorothy Hagerman, sister: Odale Napolitano and her husband: Paul Barker.

She leaves behind a large and loving family to cherish her memory, which includes her children: Dorothy Ballard and husband Roger of Springdale, AR, Paul Barker and wife Angela of Elkins, AR, Anthony Barker of Westville, OK, Jennifer Ford and husband Alex Ford IV of Fayetteville, AR, grandchildren: Benjamin Ballard of Alpena, AR, Brandon Ballard of Berryville, AR, Jason Barker of Gentry, AR, Cody Barker, Kelsey Barker, Garrett Barker, all of Westville, Megan Wilhite, Zachary Wilhite, Zander Ford, Miracle Ford, Jadyn Ford, all of Fayetteville, Blake Miller of Elkins, Lacy Miller of Fayetteville, Emylee Dearing of Elkins, 11 great grandchildren, sister: Katie Zeyn of Rison, AR.

Many other relatives and friends also survive her.

Funeral services at 11 am on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, OK with Pastor Chris Harrison officiating. Interment followed at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery, Westville, OK.
