Carolyn Sue Stills, daughter of Joseph Bryan and Addie (Palone) Kelley, was born on November 3, 1940 in Cincinnati, Arkansas and passed from this life on Thursday, March 5, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 79 years of age.

Carolyn lived a full and interesting life. She served our country proudly in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves. At the time of her discharge, Carolyn was a Master Sergeant.

She then went on to earn her Masters Degree in Social Work. She retired from the Department of Human Services after working at Hissom Memorial Center and for Juvenile Services. She worked hard in her area of expertise.

Carolyn was a long time member of the National Association of Social Workers. She earned the admiration and trust of her co-workers and clients.

Carolyn was a member of the Memorial Drive Methodist Church in Tulsa and attended regularly as her health permitted. She touched many lives and made many friends during her time with us and will be deeply missed.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Addie Kelley.

She leaves a loving family devoted to her memory. They include her daughter: Pamela Rowe of Inola, son: Richard (Rick) Stills of Platte City, Mo., granddaughters: Ashley and Hayley Rowe of Inola, Allyson Rowe of Tulsa and Madison Stills of Kansas City, Mo.

Carolyn is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Memorial Drive Methodist Church, Tulsa, with Rev. Alan McIntyre officiating. Interment followed at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery, Westville.
