Ray Small, son of Earl Alexander and Mary (Cox) Small, was born December 21,
1928 in Evansville, AR and departed this life to be with our lord on July 8,
2018 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 89 years, 6 months and 17 days.
He was a faithful member of Westville Assembly of God Church for many years
where he served as a board member and had many jobs at the church. In his
spare time Ray enjoyed drawing, reading his bible and working in his garage.
Ray is preceded in death by his father Earl Small and mother Mary Small. His
wife Jessie Faye Small, his sisters Dorothy Roquemore and Lois Holsomback,
brothers Lawrence Small and Roy Lee Small.
He is survived by his sisters Lavonne Kennedy and Sandra K Weddle, his
children Becky Young and husband Allen of Westville, OK, Kevin Small and
wife Beth of Kansas City, MO, grandchildren: Jessica Yager and husband Joe,
Anna Blossom and husband Darrin, Craig Young and wife Ashley, Angela Small
and fiance David Walberg, Ashley Denton and husband Dustin, Hannah Carter
and husband Dan, Luke Small and wife Morgan, Shari Young, Logan Young,
Christopher Young and Emily Young. Great grandchildren: Wyatt Carter,
Aniston, Alania, Grace, Peyton and Isaiah Yager, Aaden Blossom, Lily Blossom
and several other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2018 Assembly of
God Church ~ Westville, Oklahoma. Pastor Hike Hayes officiated.
