March 15, 1939 - October 15, 2009
John F. Parret, the son of Jess L. Parret and Norma (Barlett) Parret, was born March 15, 1939, in Wellington, Kansas. He passed away October 15, 2009, at his home in Watts, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years and 7 months.
John was married to Betty Lou Butler in Somerville, Massachusetts on July 29, 1961. He worked as a machine operator for Baldor Electric for several years. John was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of VFW in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Parret, on June 7, 2000, and sister, Donna Love. He leaves to mourn his passing his children, Alen Parret, of Watts, OK, Pamela Jones, of Westville, OK and Johnny Parret, of Watts, OK; six grandchildren, one step grandchild, three great grandchildren and one brother, Joe Parret, of Oregon.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery with Bro. Darrell Self and Bro. Frank Smith officiating. Burial is under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
