Services for Mrs. Nettie Morris, 77, widow of the late Tom Morris, were conducted from the Hart Memorial Chapel, Friday May 19 with the Rev. Bud Lacie officiating. [parents – Daniel Marion Parkhurst & Maggie Ellen Gupton]
A resident of this area most of her life, Mrs. Morris was born December 22, 1887. She died May 17 at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Cora Patterson with whom she made her home.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Glen of Miami and Mrs. A. D. Lester, Westville.
Burial was in the Baptist Mission Cemetery.
