Funeral services for Charles Glove Morris, 82-year-old pioneer resident of Adair county, who died at his home in the Chance community where he had lived for the past 50 years, were held in Baptist Mission, Sunday, September 5, with Rev. Clark Wilson, officiating. Burial was in the Mission cemetery. Pall bearers and flower girls were the grandchildren.
Mr. Morris was born June 27, 1866 in Georgia, and was a retired farmer. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jack Beavers, Watts, and Mrs. Noah Parkhurst, Westville; one son, Nick Morris, Virgil, Kansas, and several grandchildren.
