Billy Dell Johnson, son of William (Bill) Odell Johnson and Audest Dell Bonnie (Tennison) Johnson, was born at home in Boynton, Ok in Muskogee County on Oct 29, 1947 and passed away at home on Aug 31st, 2020 at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 2 days.


He attended high school at Westville and continued his education at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M college in Miami, Ok. He went from there to Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Ok until the time he withdrew to care for his disabled father. 

The remainder of his life was spent caring for his family, farming and working at Hudson as a feed mixer.
 

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Lucinda Smith.

He is survived by two sisters, Bonnie Remington and her husband Terry Remington of Summers, Ark and Caroline Foust of Sulpher, OK.; one brother, Carl E Johnson and wife Vicky Johnson, of Las Cruces, New Mexico.  Although he had no children of his own, he was a father figure to many nephews and nieces.

Graveside service was held Friday, September 4, 2020 at 4:00 PM in the Old Baptist Mission Cemetery under the direction of the Roberts & Hart Funeral Home in Westville, OK
