James Alfred "Jim" Guy

James Alfred Guy, known to all as "Jim", was born on March 16, 1942 in Proctor, Oklahoma and departed this life with his family at his side on January 13, 2018 in Bluejacket, Oklahoma at 75 years of age.

On July 5, 1959, Jim married his sweetheart, Vada Cleo Napier. They were blessed with a wonderful family and over 58 years of marriage.  Jim worked hard his entire life to support his wife and family. first as a welder and then as a cross country truck driver before retiring.  He was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jim will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Alfred "Jack" and Naomi Myrtle (West) Guy, sister: Wanda Jean Butler and son: Jimmy Dean Guy.

Jim is survived by a loving family that includes his wife: Cleo Guy, son: Jerry Guy and daughter: Carol Elsey, all of the home in Bluejacket, OK, daughter: Connie Chandler and husband Kevin of Tahlequah, OK, grandsons: J R Vickery, Lane Chandler, granddaughters: Kristy Guy, Jennifer Bailey, Kerry Guy, Laci Chandler, eight great grandchildren, two sisters: Barbara Willis and husband Tommy of Moody, OK, Althna Kelley of Chewey, OK, several nieces, nephews and many friends. 
 

Funeral Services were under the direction of Roberts & Hart Chapel of Westville, OK with interment in the Old Baptist Mission Cemetery.
