Bruce Wayne Guffey
February 6, 1955-December 26, 2007

Bruce Wayne Guffey, the son of Billy Gene Guffey and Gerri (Gilbert) Morris, was born February 6, 1955, in Denver, Colorado.
He departed this life December 26, 2007, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years, 10 months and 20 days.

He was married to Cathy Guthrie on May 22, 1997, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Billy Guffey.

His surviving family includes his wife, Cathy Guffey, of Westville, OK., four daughters; Amie Guffey of Stilwell, Amanda Guffey of Westville, Julie Guffey of Stilwell and Tina Kindle of Westville, one son; Billy Tate of Aztec, NM., parents; Gerri and Kenneth Morris of Watts, mother in law; Betty Watt of Westville, two brothers and their wives; Bradley and Jodie Guffey of Tulsa, OK., Lonnie and Jane Guffey of Blanchard, OK., four sisters; Judy Tucker of Claremore, OK., Gayle Mullin and husband Jim of Westville, Joy Walker and husband Frank of Muskogee, OK., Jan Hopper and husband Robert of Grove, OK., 15 grandchildren, brother in law; Robert Watt of Westville, OK., Johnny Guthrie of Baron, OK., and Randy Reil of Westville, one sister in law; Christie Watt of Fayetteville, AR., Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends and loved ones also survive him.

Services were held Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel in Westville with Vernon Garr officiating.
Interment followed at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
