Margaret A (Carmichael) Clugston

Margaret A (Carmichael) Clugston was born on August 28, 1941 and departed this life on Tuesday, May 09, 2017 at the age of 75 years.

She made her living working at the Westville Nursing Home for 28 years.  Margaret lived her life loving... FIRST: Jesus, SECOND: Family, THIRD: Church. Music was how she showed and shared that love. Along with working in the nursing home, she gave music lessons, sharing her love and knowledge of music with others. She was the organist / pianist for the United Methodist Church in Westville, OK for ever. "The Lord and I had a good time working together" she said. "I always prayed over every hymn and he told me what was ok, what wasn't. We had a few arguments, but He always had His way."  "John 15:5 has been my anchor and he gave that to me."

Margaret is survived by her sisters: Linda Hamblin and husband Bill of Westville, OK, Pat Lively and husband John of Rogers, AR, 2 nephews: David Lively of Florida, Mike Hamblin of Texas, 1 niece: Patrice Smith of Florida.
 

Funeral services were held Friday, May 12, 2017 @ 10:00 a.m. 

Internment to follow at the Old Baptist Mission .
