Beulah Inez Carter, daughter of Oscar and Georgia (Green) Wood, was born on September 8, 1921 in Westville, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 89 years, 2 months and 3 days
Beulah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She married Raymond Carter on July 19, 1941. The Lord blessed them with 58 years of marriage and two wonderful children: Duane and Wilma. Beulah was not only a wife to Raymond, she was also his partner and they worked side by side on all projects. She was devoted to her family and loved the time that she spent with them. Beulah enjoyed gardening, quilting, needlecraft and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband and partner: Raymond Carter in February 1999, her parents: Oscar and Georgia Wood, brother: Robert Wood and sister: Juanita Edmiston.
Surviving Beulah is a loving family that includes her children: Duane Carter and wife Georgia of Westville, OK, Wilma Allen of Corpus Christi, TX, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, brother: Brice Wood and wife Geneva. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 am on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery with Larry Eubanks officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
