March 5, 1920 - July 11, 2007

Funeral Services for Bernice Winifred White have been scheduled for Friday, July 13, 2007 at Hayhurst Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Rev. Nick Garland will officiate.
Burial will be at the Trail of Tears Cemetery in Westville, Oklahoma uner the direction of Hayhust Funeral Home.

Bernice Winifred White was born March 5, 1920 in Westville, Oklahoma the daughter of Jonathan and Rebecca (Morton) Whitmire.
Bernice died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Broken Arrow Nursing Home. She was 87 years of age.

Bernice was a 1941 High School Graduate of Chilocco Indian School. She moved to Broken Arrow from Tulsa in 1961. She was a Nurses Tech for St. Francis Hospital for 17 years before retiring in 1986.
She loved to cook for nursing homes and Church Camps, especially her fried chicken and liked to give food away to others. She enjoyed her Church, growing tomatoes in her garden and reading. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 100 W. Albany, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012.

She is survived by, sons; Gary and wife Barbara White, Chelsea, OK, Larry White, Tulsa, OK, Ron White, Winter Park, FL., grandchildren; Hillary, Ben, Kimberly, great grandchildren; Samuel Rye Schultz.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
