Irene Marie Hogner daughter of Kenie and Dovie (Studie) Hogner was born December 1, 1947 in Peavine, Oklahoma and departed this life on October 16, 2018 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 15 days.
 

She had a great love for Stilwell Indian and Oklahoma Sooner football where she very rarely missed a game. She had a huge heart and it showed in her compassion towards others and her dedication of over 50 years of employment at Stilwell Nursing Home. She also enjoyed reading and playing casino games.
 

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sissy Hogner, brother, Jimmy Hogner and brother-in-law, Barney Holloway.
 

She is survived by a very loving family that meant to the world to her and whom will miss her dearly. They include brother, Joe Hogner of the home, sister, Reba Holloway, nieces, Shannon Parker and husband Randy, Aretha Pruitt and husband Gary, great niece, Jill Pruitt, all of Stilwell, Great-nephews; Shane Parker of Midwest City, Steven Parker, stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington, and Logan Pruitt of Stilwell. Several other relatives and many, many friends also survive her.
 

Funeral services were held Friday, October 19, 2018 in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Rev. Jerry Ice officiating.

Interment followed in the Blackwood Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
