June 29, 1932 - May 17, 2006

Graveside services for Julia Blackwood, age 73, were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2006 at Blackwood Cemetery with Bro. John Gonzales, Jr. officiating.
Burial was under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Julia Blackwood was born June 29, 1932 in Adair County, Oklahoma to John Blackwood and Nancy Scraper Blackwood. She went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2006 at the Stilwell Nursing Home at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 18 days.

Julia attended Antioch Baptist Church in the Peavine Community where she accepted the Lord as her savior. She rededicated her life to the Lord anew a couple of months ago.
Julia was a loving person to those who knew her.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Nancy Blackwood and two brothers, Anderson and Luke Blackwood.

She is survived by one brother, John Blackwood and wife, Sally of the Mulberry Community and several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
