Sadie Norma Welch Cole
July 16, 1921-October 13, 2007

Sadie Norma Welch Cole was born July 16, 1921 in Watts, Oklahoma.
She died October 13, 2007 in Grove, Oklahoma.
She was the daughter of John B. Welch and Pearl Odle Welch.
After graduating from Westville High School in 1938, she was employed as Deputy County Clerk for Adair County in Stilwell, Oklahoma. During World War II, she worked for O.P.A. and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she was employed by National Bank of Commerce. She had a long career in banking and was employed by Peoples Bank of Westville, OK and Arkansas State Bank in Siloam Springs, AR.
After her retirement, she served over nine years as a volunteer for the Hospital Auxiliary at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
She was of Baptist faith and attended Lightning Ridge Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband as well as her parents and two brothers.
Her survivors include her daughter, Sadie Cole Gordon, of Grove, OK, her son; E. Welch Cole and his wife Nancy Dehart of Vanita, OK, three grandchildren, four great grandchldren, Carol Cole of Muskogee, OK, a sister; Audrey Hembree of Westville, OK and a brother, James Welch of Seaside, CA.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Wasson Funeral Home Chapel in Siloam Springs, AR with Bro. Jim Beavers officiating.

Interment will follow at Bell Cemetery in Watts, OK under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
