Jess Samuel Brooks, 80, of Sapulpa, Okla., died Sunday at a Sapulpa hospital. Born April 2, 1896 at Harrison, the son of James A. and Mary Ann Burwell Brooks, he was a member of the Holiness Church.
Survivors include three sons, Doyle of Westville, Okla., Dorrence of Sapulpa, Okla., and L. Dale of Venicia, Calif: a daughter Mrs. Juanita Shook of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a brother, Frank D. of Disney, and three sisters, Mrs. Bertha McGuire of Siloam Springs, Mrs. Panzie Patrick of Malvern, Okla. and Mrs. Agnes Wagnon of Prattville, Okla.
