Lala Delight (Durossette) Stopp, age 34, passed away November 9, 2016, under the care of the staff at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by family. Lala fought a two year long battle with cancer. And she fought hard.

She was born July 15, 1982 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Johnny and April (Jones) Durossette.

Lala received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northeastern University in 2006 and worked as the director of Henry Lee Doublehead Child Development Center for 10 years. On August 15, 2014, she was married to Jim Stopp in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

She enjoyed crafting, sewing, painting, baking, making jewelry and fishing. Lala especially cherished every moment with her children and nephews and nieces. She was very talented in baking and cake decorating. She loved all things outdoors. Lala always put others first and was known for her beautiful, inviting, warm smile, no matter what the circumstances.

Lala leaves to cherish her memory a loving family which includes, her husband, Jim Stopp, of the home; her parents, Johnny and April Durossette, of Bunch; her stepchildren, Jaebrey Kirk, Keaundra Kirk and Alec Stopp, of Tahlequah, Brogan and K'gan Stopp, of the home; siblings, Arianna and husband Chris Workman, of Prairie Grove, AR, Joshua Durossette and Felissa Oliver, of Sallisaw, Miles Durossette and wife, Melanie, of Stilwell; nieces and nephews whom she loved very much, Chris and Audrey Workman, of Prairie Grove, AR, Noah Littledeer and Liam Durossette, of Stilwell, Aiden and Ian Dawson, of Sallisaw, Addy, Rance and Krista Stopp, Rayleigh and Kyla Diver, of Tahlequah and a host of many, many more nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Silas and Eunice Jones, of Bunch and Navada Stayathome, of Stilwell.

A private family graveside service was held Monday, November 14, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the Ahman Hill Cemetery with Bro. Darrell Lacie officiating. Final arrangements were entrusted to care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
