Shawn Paul Jones was born September 03, 1963 in Pueblo, Colorado, to Silas F Jones and Eunice A Smith-Jones, he was killed in a job accident near Las Vegas, Nev on March 14, 1991.
Funeral services are in charge of Roberts Funeral Home and burial after a grave side memorial will be at the family cemetery, Ahman Hill Cemetery, officiating clergyman Steve Johnson. Shawn was a graduate of Stilwell High School; class of '81 and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He served his country as a telecommunications specialist 4th class and received a special commendation from his commander for his job. He was awarded the army service ribbon, overseas ribbon (serving in Germany); the army good conduct medal; and his marksman badge for the M-16 rifle.
Shawn will be deeply missed by all who knew him well, but most especially by his parents Silas F. and Eunice A. Jones; his paternal grandmother Mrs. Nora Bell Jones; his sister Athalia Dora; his younger brother Noble Justin; his sister April Elaine Durossette, all of the Stilwell area. His maternal grandmother Mazie A. Lee of Enterprise, Utah; his older brothers Eric Douglas and Allen Wayne of Jean, Nevada; his sister Athena Faith Reed of Lincoln, Ark.; his sister Dawn Elizabeth McAbee of Duncan, South Carolina and his sister Danika Lani Jones of Gaffney, South Carolina; his aunts, uncles and cousins.
His little nieces and nephews have lost a loving, generous and tender heart who loved each and everyone of them.
He would want us to say, "Farwell and God be with you" to all of his friends.
